Due to a number of requests for extensions, the call for papers for the
EMCIS2010 has been extended until Monday 4th January, 2010.

Theme: 'Global Information Systems Challenges in Management' 
  
Background: 

Over the past few years, transformations in the global economy (e.g. in
terms of competition, improving service delivery, enhancing productivity)
has forced the industrial/private sector managers and academicians in the
IS discipline to continuously contemplate over the critical challenges of
how to integrate technologies to transform organisational performance
within inter- and intra-organisational supply chains and meet management
objectives.

Contributions for the EMCIS 2010 conference should address the range of
topics in IT/IS (Global IT/IS challenges in management), technology
management, electronic government, healthcare; either current developments
in the field or how to create positive impact in those areas. Researchers
are invited to submit their manuscripts (full papers,
research-in-progress) across a range of parallel tracks so there will be
something for everyone! All accepted papers are published in the
proceedings which have an ISBN number and available to all through the
EMCIS conference website thus, ensuring the whole world is able to
download and read your papers. This is a small conference that supports
networking amongst delegates, with the numbers capped at 100 delegates in
Abu Dhabi, UAE.


Selected papers will be considered for publication in:
