THE AIM OF THE WORKSHOP
=======================
 
The main aim of the INTEL-EDU series of workshops is to provide an international platform for the presentation of research on intelligent educational systems theory, development of advanced tools and technologies, and their innovative applications(www.scientific-conference2012.rtu.lv/node/267).
 
The 3rd workshop INTEL-EDU 2012 continues the workshops held in Riga in 2009 in conjunction with 13th East-European Conference on Advances in Databases and Information Systems (ADBIS 2009) a
nd in 2011 in conjunction with 10th International Conference on Perspectives in Business Informatics Research (BIR 2011).
It is organised in cooperation with the Baltic-German University Liaison Office(Baltisch–Deutsches HochschulKontor).
 
We invite researchers and practitioners from both industry and academia to submit original results of their completed or ongoing research and projects.

Notification of acceptance – September 9th 
Camera ready deadline and registration fee payment – September 23rd

PAPER SUBMISSION AND PROCEEDINGS
================================
Each paper will be reviewed by at least two workshop Programme Committee members. 
 
Papers accepted for publication will be published in proceedings of INTEL-EDU 2012 workshop with ISBN. 
 
Papers submitted need to follow LNCS formatting guidelines available from: http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html.  
 
Papers shall not have more than 8 pages (including figures, tables and appendices). Papers 
should be sent as an email attachment to viktorija.ponomarenko@gmail.com.
 
The submitted papers must be unpublished and must not be under review elsewhere.

Best papers selected by the PC will be also published in the International Journal of Engineering Research and Industrial Applications (IJERIA, ISSN 0974-1518). The consolidated impact factor registered by IJERIA for 2011 is 0,1526.
