The Department of Operations, Business
Analytics, and Information Systems (OBAIS) in the Carl H.
Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati
has a cluster hire of four positions across analytics and
information systems programs. We invite applications for two
full-time tenure-track Information Systems (IS) position
beginning August 2014. Both positions are at the
assistant/associate professor level and have been approved by
the Dean and the Provost.
For these IS tenure track positions,
candidates must have a Ph.D. in Information Systems or related
area in Computer Science by August 2014 with strong preference
for relevant IS-related experience in research and teaching.
Candidates must be willing and able to teach at all levels of
doctoral, master's, and undergraduate programs. Preferred
candidates will have published articles in A-level journals
and demonstrated excellence in teaching of IS-related topics.
Of particular interests are applicants with backgrounds in
business analytics, business intelligence, data management,
database design, and data/text mining.
