This is a first call for papers for the 13th International Conference on e-Learning (ICEL 2018) which is being hosted by The Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town, South Africa on the 5-6 July 2018

This call will close on 7^th of December 2017.

The International Conference on e-Learning (ICEL) focuses on academic research and practical applications of e-Learning in many areas. This includes mobile learning, blended learning, social media in education, MOOCs – to mention only a few topics. The conference attracts a varied group of people with different perspectives on e-Learning and brings top research and proven best practices together into one location, for the purposes of helping researchers and practitioners find ways to use e-Learning.

Academic research, case studies and work-in-progress/posters are welcomed approaches. PhD Research, proposals for roundtable discussions, non-academic contributions and product demonstrations based on the main themes are also invited. Papers presented at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to author registration and payment. The proceedings have an ISBN and ICEL proceedings are listed and/or rated by multiple organisations worldwide including Thompson ISI WOS and Elsevier Scopus.
