Issue 1 (Volume 28) of *Information and Organization* is now available.

In this issue we are introducing a special section on *Research Impact and
Contributions to Knowledge* (RICK). Our goals are to provide a platform for
scholarly articles dedicated to articulating research impact across
academic domains and to motivating engaged research between researchers and
practitioners.

Dr. Michael Barrett, of Judge School of Management, University of
Cambridge, will serve as Section Editor for this ongoing section.

The introductory editorial explains the genre of publications and
submission process. The inaugural RICK papers are also available for
download online through May, 2018. (See
