The ICIS 2012 Conference Committee and the Association for
Information Systems are pleased to invite you to participate in
the 2012 International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS
2012) to be held in Orlando, Florida from December 16, 2012 to
December 19, 2012.
The ICIS 2012 Program Committee invites submissions across 21
tracks, including our Theme track. The conference theme, Digital
Innovation in the Service Economy, combines the two most
important long-term trends in the business world: The shift of the
economy from goods to service, and the rapid expansion of
information economy and electronic networks. IT is likely to play
an even more significant role in the service economy not only in
fostering innovation in the service sector but also in
transforming the entire economy.
Please note the following:
- The conference website at http://icis2012.aisnet.org/
contains the track descriptions, deadlines, and submission
guidelines.
- The deadline for submissions is Thursday, May 3, 2012, 11:59
pm Pacific time. This is a firm deadline and no extensions will
be allowed.
- All submissions must be made through the online submission
system at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/icis2012.
Authors need to create an account on the submission
system before they can upload their papers. A submission can be
made to only one Track and the posted submission guidelines, at
http://icis2012.aisnet.org/submissions.htm
must be followed.
- Acceptance/rejection decisions will be made by Monday, July
30, 2012.
There is much to see and do in and around Orlando. The Orlando
area often boasts of being the theme park capital of the world and
as such, the tourist amenities and facilities are second to none.
You'll have a great time exploring all there is to offer. We look
