Dear Colleagues,

The Special Interest Group on Green Information Systems (SIGGreen) is calling for nominations to the 2019 SIGGreen Award for the Best Journal Paper on Green IS.

Nominations for the award can be made via email to vanessa.cooper@rmit.edu.au<mailto:vanessa.cooper@rmit.edu.au> and emails must include: Name of nominee; complete reference to nominated paper; brief rationale including how the article fulfills the criteria (up to 300 words, see https://communities.aisnet.org/siggreen/new-item6/new-page).
Nominations are due on June 30st 2020.

The award was established in 2017 by the AIS SIGGreen board to recognize one outstanding journal paper on topics related to the role of IS to matters regarding environmental sustainability. Last year’s award went to
Konstantin Hopf; Mariya Sodenkamp, and Thorsten Staake (2018) from University of Bamberg for their paper “Enhancing Energy Efficiency in the Residential Sector with Smart Meter Data Analytics”. Electronic Markets 28(4), p. 453-473.

Runners-up were:
