***CALL FOR PARTICIPATION - STUDENT GRANTS & AWARDS***
IEEE International Conference on Digital Health (ICDH) is a prime
international forum for both researchers and industry
practitioners to exchange the latest fundamental advances in the
state of the art and practice of digital health technologies,
emerging research topics, and the future of digital health.
The ICDH organizing committee is hosting a student competition
event for US-based and global graduate students and support
participant’s registration fees. The students will be selected
based on a project idea submission which will be evaluated by
distinguished judges. Winners also will receive mentoring from
selected judges. The mentoring activities will explore and expand
research ideas on digital health. Minorities and women graduate
students from diverse institutes are encouraged to apply
throughout the diffusion of the participation grant in
minority-serving institutions. Post-doctoral students may also be
considered for support on a case-by-case basis.
***PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES***
Students submit a proposal for participation (max 2 pages) where
they will describe their research idea or work in one of the
available categories. Work in preliminary planning phases will be
considered. Categories to be considered will include 1) Digital
health projects for diabetes and blood pressure management; 2)
Digital health projects for cancer management; and 3) General
digital health projects for other health purposes.
*Accepted students will receive the participation grant to
reimburse ICDH registrations.
*Accepted graduate students will participate in a one-day work
competition, where they will present the research idea and
preliminary results (if applicable) to a judging panel.
*Accepted graduate students will participate in virtual mentoring
sessions with distinguished speakers that will explore the
different topics and research challenges in the above categories.
*Accepted graduate students will participate in an award ceremony,
where the best projects will be announced. There will be monetary
compensation to the winners.
*Students must accept an acknowledgment that they do not have any
other source of support.

* First Place: $600
* Second Place: $400
***SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS***
Students are invited to submit their research work, preliminary
results, and/or preliminary ideas. No more than one team per
institution will be considered. If more than one team per
institution is opting for the grant, one extra team can be
considered if one or more of its student members is from
minorities and underrepresented groups. All submissions must
adhere to IEEE Publishing Policies and will be vetted through the
IEEE CrossCheck portal.
