34th International Conference on Conceptual Modeling (ER 2015)
http://er2015.dsv.su.se/
http://linkd.in/16297XM
October 19 - 22, 2015, Stockholm, Sweden
Call for Tutorials, Panels and Demos
The International Conference on Conceptual Modeling is the leading
international forum for presenting and discussing current research on
conceptual modeling. The topics of interest span the entire spectrum of
conceptual modeling including research and practice in areas such as:
theories of concepts underlying conceptual modeling, methods and tools
for developing and communicating conceptual models, techniques for
transforming conceptual models into effective implementations, and the
impact of conceptual modeling techniques on databases, business
strategies and information systems development.
We solicit tutorials, panels and demos for ER 2015.
Tutorials
The goal of a tutorial at the conference is to provide a road map (for
beginners or advanced attendees) about a subject area so that attendees
can then pursue work in that area if they are so inclined. They are
intended to provide independent instruction on a topic of relevance.
Generally, tutorials emphasize breadth and cover material from a variety
of different authors. The audience is generally varied from novice
students to practitioners and specialized researchers. The conference
strongly encourages proposals containing new ideas and new approaches,
or proposals on new subjects related to conceptual modeling.
Proposal deadline: 10 May 2015

Panels
Panels should strive to represent all important viewpoints in the
proposed scientific debate. Panels that address practical use of
Conceptual Modeling are especially welcome. Panels about modeling of
both objects and process/activities/services at the conceptual level are
also encouraged.
Proposal deadline: 10 May 2015

Demos
The ER 2015 Demo session complements the overall program of the
conference. It is designed to provide an exciting and highly interactive
way to demonstrate conceptual modeling research, and an excellent way to
advertise the applicability of the results and gather feedback from the
international conceptual modeling community. Proposals should be related
to the topics of interest of the main conference track and could include
computational environments and prototypes for conceptual modeling,
practical conceptual modeling projects, advances in applying conceptual
modeling, lessons learned, and late-breaking results of innovative use
of conceptual modeling techniques.
Proposal deadline: 10 May 2015
