The general focus of the AIAI conference is to provide insights on how AI can be implemented in real world applications.
The AIAI 2009 Committee invites proposals for workshops and tutorials to be held on 23-25 2009, during the main ΑΙAI 2009 conference. http://delab.csd.auth.gr/aiai2009/workshop.html http://delab.csd.auth.gr/aiai2009/tutorial.html
HOW TO PROPOSE A WORKSHOP? ========================== Workshops should accept original research papers (that have not been submitted elsewhere) on innovative, or otherwise provocative issues within the main conference area. The publication of accepted papers should be arranged by the chairs of the workshops.
Proposals for workshops should contain:
* Title and brief description of the workshop topic and content. * A brief discussion of why the topic is of particular interest at this time. * List of previous or related workshops. * Names and institutions of the Workshop Organizing Committee. * Contact details for the Workshop Chair. * Desired workshop length (half day, one day), and an estimate of the audience size. * Schedule for organizing the workshop and a preliminary agenda. * Any special technical needs.
Please submit your workshop proposals by e-mail to the AIAI 2009 Workshop Chair (nbassili@csd.auth.gr).
HOW TO PROPOSE A TUTORIAL? ========================== Proposals for 90-minute tutorials are also invited on topics within the conference area. Tutorial proposals must be at most 5 pages, and should contain:
* Title, description of the tutorial topic and content. * Enough material to provide a sense of what will be covered. * A brief discussion of why the topic is of particular interest at this time. * List of previous or related tutorials. * Contact details for the tutorial presenter (or presenters). * Intended audience and an estimate of its size. * Any special technical needs.
Tutorial presenters should design their tutorials and the accompanying visual aids far enough in advance so that the AIAI 2009 organizers can reproduce enough copies for all the tutorial attendees.
Please submit your tutorial proposals by e-mail to the AIAI 2009 Tutorial Chair (nbassili@csd.auth.gr).
