Track: Strategic Use of Information Technology

CFP for Mini-Track: Strategic and Competitive Information Systems through e-Collaboration

 

The ways of collaborating continue to evolve! Advances in information and communication technologies (ICT) have produced enormous changes in the manners, approaches, and methods that people use to collaborate. This mini-track seeks to make a broad inter-disciplinary contribution to the literature in the area of e-Collaboration.

 

We are interested in original research papers on a broad range of topics related to e-Collaboration. Selected high quality papers may be invited for a fast-track review and possible publication in a special issue on e-Collaboration in the Information Systems Frontiers Journal. 

 

Suggested topics include, but are limited to those on this list:

 

·       Concepts and theoretical foundations of e-Collaboration

·       E-Collaboration technologies in individual, group, and organizational level

·       Adoption and strategic use of e-Collaboration technologies

·       E-Collaboration issues in business process reengineering

·       Knowledge management and e-Collaboration

·       Social computing and e-Collaboration

·       Leaning through e-Collaboration

·       Trust, security, and privacy issues on e-Collaboration

·       Measurement and evaluation issues on e-Collaboration

·       Future trends and directions of e-Collaboration

1.      January 3, 2012: Manuscript Central start accepting paper submissions

2.      March 1, 2012 (11:59 PM PST): Deadline for paper submissions

3.      April 6, 2012: Authors will be notified of acceptance decisions

4.      April 25, 2012: For accepted papers, camera-ready copy due
