Please join us for the 11th Annual Association for Information Systems
Student Chapter Leadership Conference (SCLC) at Illinois State University
in Normal. But we are anything but Normal! Home of the Land of Lincoln,
Route 66 and headquarters to companies such as State Farm Insurance,
COUNTRY Financial and the launching pad for the "Tesla of Trucks" known as
Rivian Electric Vehicles. The conference organizers welcome AIS student
chapter leadership to the twin cities of Bloomington-Normal to exchange
best practices, network with chapters from around the world, and engage
with industry experts on cutting-edge topics. Chapters are also invited to
submit their entries to the exciting student chapter competition tracks.

*Highlights*

· Student-led workshops and panels on the state of the art in student
chapter leadership

· Industry keynotes and career panels

· Competition track finals in artificial intelligence, analytics,
blockchain, IoT, and system development

· Many social activities planned

*Call for Panel and Workshop Proposal*

The theme of the conference is “The Best Way to Predict Your Future in
Information Systems is to Create IT.” The conference organizers welcome
proposals for student-led panels and workshops to be included as part of
the conference program. Topics include innovations in operating and
managing a student chapter, new models for organizing student chapters, and
tutorials on cutting-edge technologies.



The deadline for proposal submission is *January 31, 2020*. More
information can be found under “Call for Proposals” on the conference
website.

*Competitions*

Student Chapter competitions provide students opportunities to learn,
observe and develop their skills with current industry leaders. The aim is
to allow students to take their classroom knowledge and apply it to
