Call for papers: Machine listening

Dear Gustaf Neumann,

This call for papers invites researchers working across the broad spectrum of topics around machine listening to submit their work to Patterns. We are seeking work on AI for acoustics, natural language processing, audio comprehension, auditory scene analysis, and more. We would also be interested to see submissions from researchers working in Human-Computer Interaction with a focus on audio, particularly where there is an emphasis on the ethical, sociological, and psychological dimensions of machine listening. Papers on computational musicology, music information retrieval, and AI for musical competition are also welcome.

Please insert the name of this call for papers in your cover letter while submitting. If you have any questions or have a pre-submission inquiry, please contact us at patterns@cell.com or e-meet us by booking a virtual meeting.
