Call for Papers
5th Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems
(MCIS), to be held in Tel Aviv, Israel, on 12-14 September 2010
Track : Cloud Infrastructures and Interoperability
in the Public Sector
Objectives
The track aims at providing the latest research
findings such as theoretical foundations, principles, methodologies,
architectures, technical frameworks, international policy,
standardization and
case studies for upgrading the infrastructure and achieving
interoperability
within the provision of digital services from administration and
businesses
towards the user citizens and enterprises. These findings are organized
along
the following main areas of contribution:
•
provision of novel
research approaches for advancing infrastructure and interoperability,
applicable both to public administration and industry, worldwide
•
analysis of the
services transformation process and tools, towards one-stop,
interoperable
digital public services for citizens and businesses
•
presentation of
standardization approaches and initiatives for upgrading the
infrastructures
and interoperability at national, regional and international levels
•
analysis of data
interoperability achievements, through transformation and semantic
matching
methods and tools
Since interoperability is a multi-disciplinary
domain, new research challenges are also bound to touch Semantics, Web
Service
Technologies, Business Process Management and Reengineering, Service
Oriented
Architectures and Model Driven approaches.
