A number of Schools that offer Technology Management Programs are cooperating in the organization of the conference. We will share information about education and research and plan the next steps in promoting Technology Management as a field.
=================================================================== Location: Stevens Institute of Technology Castle Point on Hudson Hoboken, NJ
Keynote Speaker: John Heindel, President of Lucent Worldwide Services
Web Site for Registration and Other Details: http://attila.stevens-tech.edu/tmconference
Because we want this to be an informal sharing of information and ideas, attendance is limited to 125 people. =================================================================== Description of Workshop
This Workshop focuses on the educational state-of-the-art in the broadly defined Technology-Management world. Important educational developments in terms of research, curriculum content, pedagogical approaches, program and course designs comprise the central concern of this Workshop. One overall aim is to share ideas and generate learning so that the whole field and relevant business communities benefit. A distinguishing feature of this event is that it is structured as a hands-on and relatively informal "Workshop"not as an overly formal, passive and "show-and-tell" meeting. Breakout sessions will be used to discuss the following topics:
Technology-Management Program Design, Structure, Changing Markets and Curriculum Development
Key Future Directions, Opportunities and Needs in Technology-Management Education
