Dear Gustaf Neumann,
IJCCI 2011 (the International Joint Conference on Computational Intelligence - http://www.ijcci.org/) has an open call for papers, whose deadline is set for May 12, 2011. We hope you can participate in this conference by submitting a paper reflecting your current research.
This conference will be held in Paris, France, 24-26 of October, 2011.
Hosted by the University PARIS-EST Créteil (UPEC), it will be sponsored by the Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Control and Communication (INSTICC) in cooperation with the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), and Lissi Laboratory, France. INSTICC is member of the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC).
This meeting takes place yearly, bringing together top researchers and practitioners in computational technologies, especially those related to Fuzzy Computation, Evolutionary Computation and Neural Computation. The three main topic areas have been defined as concurrent and co-located sub-conferences of IJCCI, namely: - Fuzzy Computation Theory and Applications (http://www.fcta.ijcci.org/) - Evolutionary Computation Theory and Applications (http://www.ecta.ijcci.org/) - Neural Computation Theory and Applications (http://www.ncta.ijcci.org/)
IJCCI is interested in promoting high quality research as it can be confirmed by last year's acceptance rates, where from 236 submissions, 13% were accepted as full papers. Additionally, 23% were presented as short papers and 13% as posters.
IJCCI is characterized for including every year the participation of several distinguished invited speakers that highly contribute to heighten the conference level. You can check the complete list of previous invited speakers on-line at http://www.ijcci.org/previous_invited_speakers.asp This year, the list already includes Prof. Qiangfu Zhao, Prof. Witold Pedrycz, Prof. Didier Dubois, Prof. Marco A. Montes de Oca and Prof. Plamen Angelov but should be enlarged soon.
Submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and CD-ROM support. The proceedings will be submitted for indexation by major international indexers, including INSPEC, DBLP, Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index and EI. A short list of high quality papers presented at the conference will be selected so that revised and extended versions of these papers will be published by Springer-Verlag in the Studies in Computational Intelligence Series (SCI). IDFR
Best paper awards will be distributed during the conference closing session.
All papers presented at the conference venue will be available at the SciTePress Digital Library (http://www.scitepress.org/DigitalLibrary/).
Workshops and special sessions are also invited. If you wish to propose a workshop or a special session, for example based on the results of a specific research project, please contact the secretariat. Workshop chairs and Special Session chairs will benefit from logistics support and other types of support, including secretariat and financial support, to facilitate the development of a valid idea.
Don't hesitate to contact us should you have any questions.
Best regards, Vera Coelho IJCCI Secretariat
