Summer Academy in Management and Information Systems
Summer Academy in Web Science
From June 21 until July 16, 2010, the Faculty for Informatics of
the University of Koblenz-Landau, Germany will offer courses in
Management, Information Systems as well as in Web Science for graduate
and Ph.D. students from all over the world.
One advantage of
our academies beginning in June is that, during the four weeks, our
semester is still running and international students are not alone on
campus. University of Koblenz students will be attending the
same courses and they are looking forward to having an intercultural
experience with you.
The
course International Economics includes a three-day trip to Brussels.
We will be visiting key EU’s institutions like the European Parliament,
the EU Commission and the Council and having a city tour.
The
Web Science Summer Academy offers a unique combination of 7 courses and
3 invited talks in Web Science. The courses cover socio-economic as
well as computer science subjects.
All
courses award credits for transfers to home institutions.
We recommend
you to take two to three courses, considering assignments and exams
that need to be done during the four weeks. Every course costs 175 €.
Late registrations from June 1st on will have to pay 200 € per course.
