The Australian Conference on Knowledge Management and Intelligent Decision Support - ACKMIDS'2001 aims to attract researchers and practitioners interested in all aspects of knowledge management.
The conference is part of a continuing series organised by the Knowledge Management Research Group at Monash University since 1995. Currently it is also sponsored by the Enterprise Information Research Group, Monash University.
CONFERENCE THEME : "Knowledge Management in Context" as discussed and set up at the concluding discussion at the ACKMIDS'2000.
In particular, we invite submissions to a specialized track on Knowledge Management in Healthcare Context.
Authors are invited to submit research papers (max 5000 words) as well as application examples representing original, previously unpublished work. Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, contribution to the area, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. All papers will be refereed by members of the program committee. Accepted papers will appear as a monograph with an ISBN number and published by Australian Scholars Publishing.
OUTSTANDING PAPER AND DOCTORAL STUDENT PAPER AWARDS: The conference will have an Outstanding Paper Award and an Outstanding Doctoral Student Paper Award. Doctoral award winners will also have their conference registration fees waived. Doctoral students should include a statement in their covering letter indicating that they wish to have their paper considered for the doctoral student award and confirming their student status and major contribution to the paper content.
