CFP: Workshop on Application/Architecture Co-design for Extreme-scale
Computing (AACEC) at IEEE Cluster 2010, Sept. 20-24, Crete, Greece
** Our apologies if you receive this announcement from multiple sources **
CALL FOR PAPERS: Submission deadline (extended) - July 5, 2010
AACEC 2010 (http://www2.wmin.ac.uk/getovv/aacec10.html)
In conjunction with IEEE Cluster 2010 (http://www.cluster2010.org/)
This workshop will address the efficiency, programmability and performance
challenges throughout the lifecycle of extreme-scale hardware and software.
The methodologies, tools, challenges, opportunities and practicality of
hardware/software co-design in the extreme-scale computing era will be
discussed. A point of emphasis will be in reviewing the state-of-the-art and
chartering the future of co-designing systems and applications for high
performance computing.
TOPICS OF INTEREST:
Workshop's main topics include but are not limited to:
- Programming models that support rapid application development, high
performance and efficiency
- Heterogeneous and hybrid designs at extreme scale
- Factors that hinder high levels of sustained performance
- Methodologies and tools of co-design, including modeling of performance,
power, and reliability
- System architecture challenges, limitations, and opportunities
PAPER SUBMISSIONS:
Workshop papers will be peer-reviewed and will appear as part of the IEEE
Cluster 2010 proceedings.
Submissions must be in PDF format and should be emailed to
V.S.Getov@gmail.com - single-spaced 8.5x11-inch; maximum 10 two-column
numbered pages; IEEE Xplore format.
