Title subject: Call for Papers, ICHITA 2019
Dear colleagues,
You are cordially invited to submit your recent research work to
the Fifth International Conference on Health Information
Technology Advancement (ICHITA-2019), which is to be held on Oct.
31 – Nov. 1, 2019 at Kalamazoo, Michigan. The conference theme of
this year is focused on Transitioning to Smart Care, Challenges,
Strategies and Solutions. Due to fast advances in the health
information technologies (HIT), a wide range of research topics is
sought after and more information on the suggested topics can be
found below.
Our conference is biennial and has been held since 2011 at the
Western Michigan University. In this year, we will have keynote
speakers and HIT professionals from clinical informatics,
healthcare services, healthcare analytics and medical engineering
fields. We expect participation of a broad range of health IT
stakeholders including academic, industry practitioners, health
service providers, business/healthcare/engineering students. More
details about the ICHITA-2019 and previous events can be found at
https://wmich.edu/ichita/.
CALL FOR PAPERS
As we have done in the past, all accepted full research papers
will be published in Transactions of ICHITA, and the two papers,
one theoretical and one practice, will be awarded by the ICHITA,
and the best five papers will be published (with necessary
revisions) in a special issue of International Journal of Health
Information Systems and Informatics.
To enhance research sharing and academic networking, we also
accept “research-in-progress” papers and research abstracts, the
former will give a short presentation, and the latter for posters
to be presented on site.
Full paper submissions will undergo a double-blind review process.
At least one of the authors of the accepted paper must register to
attend the conference. If accepted, referee papers will be
published in the conference transactions and will be scheduled for
presentation during the concurrent presentation sessions.
Acceptance of abstracts and papers are subject to final approval
