1. Instructions for Workshop Proposals
We encourage workshop proposals that target innovative
applications of enterprise modelling. Specific focus can e.g. be
on:
* Digital Transformation
* Blockchain Technology
* Industry 4.0
* Internet of Things
Workshop proposals are limited to 5 pages. They must include:
* The title
* An abstract of 150 words
* A statement on the purpose and the format (paper-based or
discussion-based) of the workshop. List the workshop topics and
explain how the focus of the workshop complements the main
conference
* Organizing workshop chairs including short bios
* The number of expected papers and attendees
* A preliminary timeline for the workshop. Also mention if you
plan to have a keynote (please note that the conference
organization will not cover fees, travel expenses, accommodation
nor registration cost). Please mention if you require any special
requirement regarding infrastructure and room layout.
* A list of tentative PC members
* Information on previous editions of the workshop if available
* Information on advertisement plans for your workshop
Prior contact with us is encouraged. In case of acceptance,
organizing workshop chairs are responsible for the paper reviewing
process including the distribution of a call for papers,
assignment of reviewers, acceptance/rejection decisions, and
collecting as well as proof-reading the camera-ready versions.
Accepted workshop papers will be published in joint CEUR-WS
proceedings. Thus, an acceptance rate of approximately 50% is
invoked for all PoEM 2020 workshops. Moreover, all workshops must
employ the Springer LNBIP formatting guidelines with paper lengths
between 5 and 12 pages (including references and appendices).
2. Instructions for Tutorial Proposals
We invite proposals for tutorials that may address one or more of
the listed topics below, although authors should not feel limited
by them:
* Capability-driven Enterprise Modelling
* Business and Value Modelling
* Enterprise Modelling for Agility and Flexibility
* Modelling Enterprise Security, Risk & Privacy
* Enterprise Modelling Analysis, Integrity Checking &
Validation
* Meta-Modelling and Multi-Level Enterprise Modelling
* Conceptualizations, Notations, and Ontologies
In general, tutorials should not be limited to frontal teaching.
Instead, we want to encourage submissions that involve practical
application of enterprise modelling methods and tooling by the
participants.
Tutorial proposals are limited to 5 pages. They must include:
* The title
* An abstract of 150 words
* A list of learning objectives and how these provide value to the
attendees
* A description of how the activities in the tutorial support the
learning objectives and how the proposer will pass his/her
messages onto the attendees in an interactive way
* The expected background of the attendees
* A concise description of what materials will be provided to
attendees, especially w.r.t tooling
* A short bio of the presenters
* A short history if the tutorial (or any derived version) has
been given before. If so, details of where and when, and how it
was received, can be included.
* Some sample slides
