Dear colleagues,


The second issue of Electronic Markets in 2021 presents a collection of ten
papers in the field of artificial intelligence and digital platforms. They
are organized in one special issue on recommendation systems and one on
hybrid intelligence with three papers each. In addition, four papers are
included in the general research section. The papers are described in the
issue’s editorial and as well as in the two guest editors’ prefaces. All

2020 Impact Factor


Last but not least, Electronic Markets has experienced a strong increase in
the Clarivate Journal Impact Factors (JIF) for 2020. The new impact factor
is now 4.765, which represents a growth from 2.918 in 2019. It is also
reflected in the new 5-year Impact Factor of 6.699 (up from 4.417). We would
like to thank the entire EM-community who contributed to this success,
namely authors, reviewers, and editors!
