Call for Papers and Posters for:

The International Workshop on Cloud Computing and Applications

      - CCA 2012 -

Special Session of the 12th International Conference on Computational 
Science and Its Applications

      June 18-21, 2012

Cloud Computing is a hot research topic in Computational Science and an 
emerging approach for implementing sustainable environments to deploy 
research and business applications.

The International Workshop on Cloud Computing and Applications, 
organized as a session of the 12th International Conference on 
Computational Science and Its Applications, will represent a great 
opportunity for the scientists to exchange ideas and progresses made in 
Virtualization techniques and Cloud Computing solutions for implementing 
efficient and reliable innovative Computing environments.

We invite you to submit a Full Paper (from 10 to 16 pages) to be 
published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes for Computer Science 
book series.

We also accept Short Paper (form 4 to 5 pages), or PHD Showcase Paper (6 
to 11 pages), or Poster Paper (from 3 to 4 pages), submissions formatted 
according to the IEEE CPS layout.

The submission of the papers represents for the author an implicit 
expression of intention to register to ICCSA 2012 Conference and to 
participate to CCA 2012 workshop sessions.

Each paper must be original and unpublished work, not submitted for 
publication elsewhere  (copyright problems fall entirely under 
responsibility of the authors).  Each paper will be reviewed by at least 
three experts in the relevant field ensuring the publication of only top 
quality contributions.

The  C4HPC session is accepting contributions in the following topics:

 1. Cloud standards
 2. Cloud Interoperability
 3. Cloud  Management
 4. Cloud Monitoring
 5. Performance on Cloud
 6. Fault tolerance on Cloud
 7. Elasticity and scalability on Cloud
 8. Cloud  User interfaces
 9. Cloud e-Government and e-Health
10. Applications on Clouds;
11. Any other issue regarding the usage of Cloud Computing.


Paper submission
----------------

Participants wishing to present a communication at the workshop should 
register to the ICCSA 2012 Electronic Paper Submission system  and then 
perform the submission procedure.
Please take care of selecting the: "Cloud Computing and Applications - 
CCA 12"  Session during the submission of the Abstract and then of the 
Paper, specifying also that the submission is related to a LNCS Paper.
The allowed paper length must be 10-16 pages, formatted according to the 
LNCS layout.

Poster submission
-----------------

Participants wishing to present a Poster, that will be and will be shown 
during the Conference in a dedicated area, should register to the ICCSA 
2012 Electronic Paper Submission system  and then perform the submission 
procedure.

Please take care of selecting the: "Cloud  Computing and Applications - 
CCA 12"  Session during the submission of the Abstract and then of the 
Poster Paper, specifying also that the submission is related to a CPS 
Poster.
The allowed paper length for Posters must be 3-4 pages, formatted 
according to the IEEE-CPS layout.
The Posters will be included in the IEEE CPS volume(s) of the Proceedings.
