We cordially invite you to submit a paper to CECIIS 2017 Conference that will take place at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varazdin from September 27-29, 2017. The aim of the CECIIS Conference is to be the interface between researchers and professionals involved in research and development in the field of information and intelligent systems and related areas.

PAPER SUBMISSION

A camera-ready full paper of up to 8 pages should be prepared according to the Instructions for Authors and submitted following all the stages of the Paper Submission Process.

PAPER PUBLISHING

Compliant submissions will undergo a double-blind review process. Only the papers that are submitted on time, are reviewed positively and for which the registration fee is paid can be presented and published. Papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings with ISBN and distributed at the Conference.

Selected papers will be invited to be extended and published in the Journal of Information and Organizational Sciences (jios.foi.hr).

HALF-DAY EXCURSION TO KRAPINA
 
Krapina (http://www.tzg-krapina.hr/en) is a city in northern Croatia (54 km away from Varaždin) where the remains of Neanderthal prehistoric man were found in 1899 by the well-known Croatian geologist, palaeontologist and paleoanthropologist Dragutin Gorjanović-Kramberger. The half-cave on a hill called Hušnjakovo near Krapina is listed among world’s localities with largest and richest collection of fossil remains belonging to Neanderthals and it is key site of Europe’s prehistory. Kraneamus - Krapina Neanderthal Museum (http://www.mkn.mhz.hr/en/ ), rich with the latest technology, with a number of visual, olfactory and other sensations will bring us the fascinating world of the Neanderthals. It will also return us to the beginning of the world and give us opportunity to enjoy in the reconstruction of cosmic evolution and for a moment to feel the full force of its earliest beginnings. Besides, we will also enjoy the walk and sightseeing of the historical city centre: St. Nicholas’ Parish Church, Franciscan Monastery and St. Catherine’s Church, the birthplace of Ljudevit Gaj - a famous Croatian linguist, politician, journalist and writer. We will finish our trip with traditional dinner with music in the soul food restaurant.
VENUE

Varazdin is a small charming city in the continental Croatia, country located in Central and Southeast Europe. Rich historical heritage and lively present make the City of Varaždin one of the most picturesque towns in Croatia well worth visiting.

The CECIIS 2017 Conference takes place at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI). The main building is located in the very center of the City of Varazdin overlooking the main square and the City Hall.
