*** Workshop on Complex Collective Systems ***
*** September 8-11, 2013, Warsaw, Poland ***
*** http://home.agh.edu.pl/~jarek/Workshop_CCS/ ***
Collective aspects of Complex Systems are attracting an increasing
community of researchers working in different fields and dealing with
theoretical aspects as well as practical applications. Especially,
analysing of local interactions and simple rules make it possible to
modelling of complex collective systems.
High quality papers are invited into the workshop. Papers presented
during the workshop will be included into the proceedings of PPAM
Conference and will be published after the conference by
Springer-Verlag in the LNCS series. Papers are not to exceed 10 pages
(LNCS style)
Authors should submit papers (as PDF files) by PPAM site (track:
Workshop Complex Collective Systems). In case of any problems please
contact the Workshop organizers.
A selection of high-quality papers that will be presented during the
workshop will be published, after revision and extension, on a special
issue of the international journal Journal of Computational Science
(http://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-computational-science/).
Additionally, selected best paper will be invited to be published,
after revision and extension in Computing and Informatics
(http://www.cai.sk/ojs/index.php/cai).
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
* Cellular Automata models of complex systems,
* CA based Multi Agent Systems,
* CA models for real phenomena,
* Pedestrian dynamics and traffic modelling issues,
* Implementation issues in CA and MAS systems
* Granular flow modelling,
* Cooperative problems solving
The Workshop on Complex Collective Systems will be held in
conjunction with the Tenth International Conference on Parallel
Processing and Applied Mathematics PPAM 2013, Warsaw, Poland,
September 8-13, 2013 (http://www.ppam.pl).
