The International Academy for Information Management (IAIM), the Educational Special Interest Group of AIS, is dedicated to promoting excellence in information management education, practice, and research. The objective of SIG ED: IAIM is to provide a forum in which interdisciplinary researchers and educators in information systems can exchange ideas, techniques, and applications. SIG ED: IAIM sponsors an International conference in December at which competitively selected peer-reviewed papers, tutorials and panel discussions are presented. A Best Paper Award is announced and all papers presented are published in either the on-line journal (for high quality completed papers) or the conference proceedings, which are distributed free on CD-ROM to conference registrants and via Internet for SIG ED members. Authors of highly rated papers will have the option of having their paper fast-tracked to the Journal of Information Systems Education (JISE) for expedited review.
