The Stephenson Department of Entrepreneurship and Information Systems at Louisiana State University (LSU) is seeking two Assistant Professors to join us as we enhance our AI/analytics and cybersecurity research and teaching at LSU. Recently, LSU identified both AI and cybersecurity as priority areas for research and teaching across our institution. This environment provides excellent opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and funding opportunities.
In our department, we have opportunities to engage with students at every academic level with undergraduate concentrations in cyber and analytics, an MS in analytics, a graduate certificate in cyber risk management, and a PhD program.

Job Summary:

Assistant Professor in the Stephenson Department of Entrepreneurship and Information Systems (SDEIS) to play a leading role in the growth and development of the department and, specifically, to enhance our expertise in cybersecurity and AI/analytics the cyber defense area of the LSU research pentagon. The position will require the Assistant Professor to teach in the graduate and undergraduate levels of the department and to also conduct research that will enhance not only their record of excellence but also that of the department.
Job Responsibilities:

50% - Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Stephenson Department of Entrepreneurship & Information Systems.
50% - Conduct significant research in the fields related to Information Systems. Service to the department and the college.
Minimum Qualifications:

PhD in Information Systems or related field. ABD candidates will be considered. Degree must be conferred by time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching or demonstrated potential for excellence.
