In recent years, technology-enhanced knowledge management and learning have
attracted much attention from educators and researchers. Various successful
applications as well as the potential of knowledge management and
e-learning have been reported. In the meantime, the fast development of
technologies is affecting the way of knowledge management and learning
design as well as the learning context. Therefore, it is important to
investigate the trends of knowledge management and e-learning and review
their impacts from different aspects.

The aim of this special is to invite researchers who are engaged in
knowledge management and e-learning studies to share findings and opinions
related to the trend analysis from different perspectives based on
literature review or data collected from relevant studies. Topics of
interests for this special issue include, but are not limited to, the
following:

*** Review and trend analysis of technologies adopted in knowledge
management and e-learning studies
*** Review and trend analysis of strategies adopted or proposed in
knowledge management and e-learning studies
*** Review and trend analysis of application domains in knowledge
management and e-learning studies
*** Review and trend analysis of knowledge management and e-learning systems
*** Review and trend analysis of knowledge management and e-learning
research issues
*** Review and trend analysis of knowledge management and e-learning
research methods
*** Criteria and strategies of conducting emerging knowledge management and
e-learning studies
*** Criteria and strategies of using emerging technologies in knowledge
management and e-learning
*** Prediction of paradigm shifts in knowledge management and e-learning
