<https://weatherhead.case.edu/events/digital-innovation/>
Cleveland, OH, October 18 - 20, 2018
The Inaugural Case Workshop on Digital Innovation will be held at
Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH on October 18-20,
2018. Digital innovation is inherently an interdisciplinary topic
and calls for ideas and insights from a wide range of fields and
disciplines including business, engineering, economics,
communication, sociology, design and life sciences. Such a
broadened perspective has become imperative as we seek to advance
our understanding of the implications of digital innovation for
customers and markets, organizations, industries as well as for
the broader economy and society. The Inaugural Case Workshop is
aimed at formulating a state-of-the-field understanding of digital
innovation that is informed by diverse disciplinary perspectives
and advancing a joint research agenda. The 3-day Workshop will
bring together around 30 digital innovation scholars from
different fields and areas including management/strategy,
information systems, entrepreneurship, marketing, economics,
design, data analytics, engineering, robotics, and life sciences.
An edited collection of the papers presented at the Workshop will
be published in the form of a Handbook of Digital Innovation
(Edward Elgar) in 2019. Please visit the Workshop website for
additional details including the schedule and the list of
participants -
