Minitrack: Information Quality and System Usage in e-Government

The successful adoption of information systems, development of effective application, and improvement of information quality become increasing important in electronic government. Due to the special features of government, these issues in the government differ from those in the company setting, which directly impact citizens’ satisfaction and democracy. This minitrack seeks papers that address the role of information quality in the systems usage and e-gov application development in the government. We encourage innovative, inter-disciplinary, complete or work-in-progress papers. We welcome all research methods, including qualitative, quantitative, experimental, and action research. Example topics may include, but are not limited to the following:

·         Information issues in intra or inter government systems, e.g. ERP, SCM...

·         Information quality issue in online applications and government website

·         Information communication issues between citizens and government

·         Social issues associated with information quality improvement in e-government applications

·         Strategic role of information and application quality in electronic engagement with citizens

·         Data quality and information for government outsourcing decision and implementation

·         Quality issues in government security and privacy protection

·         Factors impacting the information gathering and information sharing among governmental agencies

·         Data quality in electronic voting systems
