INTRODUCTION
============
Scalability is a desirable quality for contemporary and future computing and
communication systems and becomes one of the most important considerations
during the design and deployment of these systems. With the rapid increases
in the information volume and system complexity, new architecture and
techniques are required to support the scalable computing and
communications.

The conference ScalCom-10 aims to provide an international forum for
scientists, researchers and engineers to discuss challenges, launch original
ideas, and showcase real-world problems on all aspects of scalability.
ScalCom-10 is soliciting original and previously unpublished papers
addressing research challenges and advances towards the design,
implementation and evaluation of scalable computing and communication
systems. ScalCom-10 will be held on 29 June - 1 July, 2010 in Bradford, UK.

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

A. Scalable computing
- Internet/Cluster/Grid Computing
- Peer-to-Peer Computing
- Mobile Computing and Networking
- Sensor Networks
- Data Mining
- Wireless Computing
- Trusted Computing
- Multimedia Services and Information Systems

PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINE
==========================
All papers need to be submitted electronically through the conference
website (http://cse.stfx.ca/~ScalCom2010/sub/) with PDF format. The
materials presented in the papers should not be published or under
submission elsewhere. Submit a full paper with 8 pages (IEEE Computer
Society Proceedings Manuscripts style: two columns, single-spaced),
including figures and references, using 10 fonts, and number each page. You
can confirm the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Author Guidelines at the
following web page: URL: http://computer.org/cspress/instruct.htm

Once accepted, the paper will be included into the IEEE conference
proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society Press (indexed by EI).
Authors (at least one) of any accepted paper are requested to register at
the conference.
