Dear Colleagues, The *CAiSE Forum* is a place within the CAiSE conference for presenting and discussing new ideas and tools related to information systems engineering. Intended to serve as an interactive platform, the Forum aims at the presentation of *emerging new topics* and controversial positions, as well as *demonstration* of innovative systems, tools and applications. The Forum sessions at the CAiSE conference will facilitate the interaction, discussion, and exchange of ideas among presenters and participants. Contributions to CAiSE'17 Forum are welcome to address any of the CAiSE'17 conference topics and in particular the theme of this year /Digital Connected World -- Informed, Disruptive Business Transformation/. ----------------- IMPORTANT DATES: ----------------- *Paper Submission deadline: 20 March 2017* Notification of Acceptance: 25 April 2017 Camera ready for all papers: 10 May 2017 ------------------ AUTHOR GUIDELINES: ------------------ We invite *two* types of submissions: * /*Visionary papers*/ present innovative research projects, which are still at a relatively early stage and do not necessarily include a full-scale validation. Visionary papers will be presented as posters in the Forum. * /*Demo papers*/ describe innovative tools and prototypes that implement the results of research efforts. The tools and prototypes will be presented as demos in the Forum. The Forum papers are short papers that must not exceed 8 pages in LNCS format (see http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html). They should be submitted in PDF format through the conference management system available at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=caise17forum. The submitted papers must be unpublished and must not be under review elsewhere. ----------------------------- PUBLICATION and PRESENTATIONS: ----------------------------- Accepted papers will be published online in *CEUR Proceedings*. It is expected that at least one of the authors attends CAiSE'17 and presents the paper either as poster (for visionary papers) or demo (for demo papers). The presentation in both cases will include the participation at the CAiSE'17 forum paper discussion between the authors and CAiSE'17 participants. ------------- FORUM CHAIRS: ------------- Xavier Franch, Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Spain Jolita Ralyté, University of Geneva, Switzerland -------------------------- FORUM PROGRAM COMMITTEE: -------------------------- Carina Alves, Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Brasil Said Assar, Institut Mines-Telecom, France Juan Pablo Carvallo, CEDIA; Universidad De Cuenca, Ecuador Dolors Costal, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Spain Rébecca Deneckère, Université Paris 1, France Deepak Dhungana, Siemens, Austria Christophe Feltus, Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, Luxembourg Agnès Front, University of Grenoble, France Smita Ghaisas, Tata, India Chiara Ghidini, Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Italy Irit Hadar, University of Haifa, Israel Jennifer Horkoff, University of Gothenburg, Sweden Marta Indulska, University of Queensland, Australia Haruhiko Kaiya, Kanagawa University, Japan Evangelia Kavakli, University of the Aegean, Greece Christian Kop, Alpen-Adria-Universitaet Klagenfurt, Austria Dejan Lavbic(, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia Lysanne Lessard, University of Ottawa, Canada Emmanuel Letier, University College London, UK Grace Lewis, Software Engineering Institute, USA Gilles Perrouin, University of Namur, Belgium Pilar Rodríguez, University of Oulu, Finland Marcela Ruiz, Utrecht University, Netherlands Arnon Sturm, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel Gianluigi Viscusi, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland Yong Xia, IBM China, China http://caise2017.paluno.de/call-for-papers/caise-forum/ * Happy New Year !!* CAISE'2017 Team ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- CAiSE'2017 - 29th International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering 12-16 June 2017, Essen, Germany *http://caise2017.paluno.de/ * ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Selmin NURCAN Maitre de Conferences HDR / Associate Professor ---------------------------------------------------------------- CAISE 2017 : Digital Connected World - Informed, Disruptive Business Transformation 12-16 June 2017, Essen, Germany http://caise2017.paluno.de/ ---------------------------------------------------------------- The University Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne has been running for the last 20 years, a highly successful Masters programme (SIC - apprenticeship) that is open for the 8th year to Foreign students http://mastersic.univ-paris1.fr/ http://www.meilleurs-masters.com/master-management-des-systemes-dinformation/universite-paris-1-pantheon-sorbonne-ecole-de-management-de-la-sorbonne-master-professionnel-sic-et-miks.html ---------------------------------------------------------------- The 18th edition on Business Process Modeling, Development and Support (BPMDS'2017) in conjunction with CAISE'2017 *BPMDS is a WORKING CONFERENCE in conjunction with CAISE*.
