Dear colleagues: 

The AILCC 4th International Conference on Cyberlaw is co-organized with
Longwood University and the Association for Digital Forensics, Security
and Law (ADFSL) and to be held in Arlington, Virginia in the USA from
August 18, 2010 to August 20, 2010.

This conference is an opportunity for academics and members of the
judiciary to exchange ideas and discuss most recent topics focusing on
Cyberlaw. Bringing together leading academics and practitioners from all
over the world, the conference will explore comparative approaches to
intellectual property and discuss privacy, information technology and
other Cyberlaw issues.

Call for Participation

We invite interested scholars to participate in this conference through
presentations, panels or by presenting papers (peer reviewed or oral
presentations) focusing on Cyber law, Security, Privacy and Computer
Forensics including: 

Cybercrime 
Electronic signature 
Electronic commerce 
Electronic government 
Internet jurisdiction 
Law of domain names 
Telecommunication law 
Electronic transactions and Electronic payment 
Human trafficking 
Digital evidence 
Cyber Security 
Cyberterrorism 
Consumer Protection 
Patent Law 
Electronic Banking 
Computer Forensics 
other subjects focusing on Cyberlaw 
Deadlines

The deadline for submissions is midnight EST, 1st June 2010.

Submission Types

Presentations: A legal, technology or a management briefing on an aspect
of cyber law. Such presentations will be presented by the participant at
the conference. An abstract should be submitted. The abstract need not
be extensive. Typical length is about 500-1000 words.

Short briefing papers: A legal, technology or a management briefing on
an aspect of cyber law. Such papers will be presented by the author at
the conference. These papers need not be extensive. Typical length is
about 1500-2000 words. 

Research papers: A research question or an argument is posed and
subsequently conducted. Empirical work (quantitative or qualitative) is
necessary. Research papers will be presented by the authors in a regular
conference session. These papers should be extensive. Typical length is
about 5000-6000 words. All research papers designated as Best Papers
will be considered for publication in chosen academic journals. 

Case Studies: Case studies are typically descriptions of a given
situation in cyber law. Names of organizations/actors can be kept
anonymous to maintain confidentiality. Case studies will be presented by
the authors at the conference. Typical length is about 5000-6000 words.
All case studies designated as Best Papers will be considered for
publication in chosen academic journals. 

Panels: Panels and workshop proposals are welcome. Typical length is
about 1000 words long and covers a current technology or a controversial
issue.

Participants

The primary audience will include both academic and practitioner
audiences. 

Authors of accepted papers are provided a reduced conference
registration fee.
Accommodation and travel expenses are self covered 

Submissions

All submissions designated as Best Papers will be double blind peer
reviewed for possible inclusion in chosen academic journals.

Best Papers

Selected papers from the conference will be considered for inclusion in
