************************************************************************* CFP on Engineering of IDTs for KMS" Invited Session in: First KES International Symposium on Intelligent Decision Technologies (KES IDT 2009), Himeji, Japan, 23-25 April 2009 http://idt-09.kesinternational.org/ ************************************************************************* IMPORTANT DEADLINES Submission of Papers by: November 15, 2008 Notification for Acceptance: December 15, 2008 All final papers must be uploaded by: January 10, 2009 --------------------------------------------------------------------- AIM: Papers are asked for this research invited session to support and advance the development of engineering constructs, frameworks and models, methods, processes and techniques, tools and instruments, and instantiations of systems/ components (Hevner and March, 2003) based on IDT for realization of efficient, effective and trustworthy intelligent KMS in organizations. All contributions must be of high quality, original, should not have been published elsewhere and should not be intended for publication elsewhere during the review period or time of the conference. --------------------------------------------------------------------- TOPICS: Theoretical and empirical contributions on: constructs, frameworks and models, methods, processes and techniques (includes computational mechanisms), tools and instruments, and/or instantiations of systems and components, for intelligent KMS design, building, and evaluation based on IDT and focused on decision-making process. --------------------------------------------------------------------- REVIEW AND SUBMISSION ISSUES: To ensure high quality, all papers will be thoroughly reviewed by the conference Review Committee. Papers may be rejected without being sent to the reviewers if they are too long or if it is judged that they do not lie sufficiently within the scope of the conference. In this session, all accepted papers will be scheduled for presentation orally. All papers for KES IDT 2009 must be submitted in electronic form using the PROSE software review system available at: http://kes2008.kesinternational.org/prose.php. Papers are required in PDF format for review purposes, but authors are required to upload editable word-processor files (LaTeX or MS Word) at the end of the review process (see the Springer web site to find out about the files required). Please note that the required paper length is eight pages in Springer format. When formatting papers, please refer to the Springer-Verlag web site, and strictly follow the Instructions to LNCS Authors at: http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-2-72376-0. --------------------------------------------------------------------- PROCEEDINGS AND PUBLISHING ISSUES: The conference proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in Lecture Notes in AI as part of the LNCS/LNAI series.
