The *Center for Artificial Intelligence – C4AI*
(c4ai.inova.usp.br) *–*
promotes on December 13th and 14th, the International Seminar on
Artificial Intelligence: Democracy and Social Impacts. The
humanities team
at C4AI, through the committees of this seminar, is pleased to
invite
professionals from academia, industry and students to submit
papers. The
seminar will be open to anyone who wants to follow live. More
information:

*Submit an extended abstract in the call for papers:*
- Deadline for submission of extended abstracts: *June 22nd, 2021*
- Result of approved extended abstracts: *July 22nd, 2021*
- Deadline for submission of the full paper:* November 22nd, 2021*
Accepted papers will be published in the seminar proceedings. At
the
discretion of the steering committee, the papers may be published:
- In a book based on the seminar topics.
- In dossier of the journal 'Revista de Estudos Avançados (USP)" (
http://www.iea.usp.br/revista)
- In both cases, the steering committee reserves the right to
request
changes in the papers selected for publication and not publish
them
(whether in the book or the journal Revista de Estudos Avançados)
if the
suggested changes are not satisfactorily met.
