On behalf of co-chairs Tina Jensen, Cheng Yi, and myself, we want
to thank
everyone who has expressed interest in the Paperathon event at
ICIS 2019 in
Munich, Germany.
The Paperathon is an intense two-day working session (Dec
14th-15th, 2019)
where researchers are organized into interest-related project
teams to
collaborate under the mentorship of prominent IS scholars. The
goal of the
paper-hackathon is to facilitate new research collaborations, help
scholars
develop their research ideas while making new professional
connections, and
to accelerate a publication review process at JAIS for the most
promising
projects. The top three finalists receive an automatic acceptance
in the
conference proceedings and are invited to present their work in
the final
session at the conference.
