CALL FOR PAPERS - IDIMT-2002 ============================
The Prague University of Economics (Czech Republic) and The University of Linz (Austria) have the pleasure to invite you to participate in the
10th Interdisciplinary Information Management Talks (IDIMT-2002) in Zadov (Bohemien Forest) - Czech Republic September 11th-13th, 2002
http://www.sea.uni-linz.ac.at/conferences/idimt2002/idimt2002.html
The aim of these annual workshops is to provide an interdisciplinary forum for an interchange of concepts and ideas on Information Management, Knowledge Management, Information Engineering, Business Engineering, System Theory and Design, and related topics. The increasing importance of information as a vital resource makes it necessary to consider these topics interdisciplinarely and holistically from various standpoints: technological, commercial, sociological and educational.
The international and interdisciplinary setting of IDIMT, especially in view of the cooperation of technical and economic research institutes and of researchers with different economic and historical backgrounds provides a multifacetted view on these topics.
This year's conference will have a main focus in the challenges provided by the ability to interconnect electronically practically all fields of human activity, predominately in the area of administration, government and education. Special attention will be given to questions of ethics, security and technology transfer to small enterprises.
