Call for Chapters:

Artificial Intelligence Paradigms for Smart Cyber-Physical Systems

Proposals Submission Deadline: March 23, 2020
Full Chapters Due: March 23, 2020
Final Chapter Submission Date: June 30, 2020

Introduction

Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) has emerged as a unifying name for systems
where the cyber parts, i.e., the computing and communication parts, and the
physical parts are tightly integrated, both at the design time and during
operation. Such systems use computations and communication deeply embedded
in and interacting with human physical processes as well as augmenting
existing and adding new capabilities. As such, Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS)
is the integration of computation, networking, and physical processes.
Embedded computers and networks monitor and control the physical processes,
with feedback loops where physical processes affect computations and vice
versa. The economic and societal potential of such systems is vastly
greater than what has been realized, and major investments are being made
worldwide to develop the technology.

Objective

The main aim of this book is to focus upon the recent advances in the
realization of Artificial Intelligence-based approaches towards affecting
secure Cyber-Physical Systems. This book attracts contributions in all
aspects pertaining to this multidisciplinary paradigm, in particular, in
its application to building sustainable space. The authors are expected to
investigate state-of-art research issues, applications, and achievements in
the field of Computational Intelligence Paradigms for Cyber-Physical
Systems. Full length original and unpublished research papers based on
theoretical and/or experimental contributions related to the
below-mentioned tracks are invited for submission in this book.

Target Audience

The target audience will be researchers and practitioners of artificial
intelligence and Cyber-Physical Systems at all levels of higher education
as well as young faculty, graduate students, engineers, professionals and
managers of Cyber-Physical Systems.

Recommended Topics

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Data management, knowledge representation and ontology for Cyber-Physical
Systems
• Big data and smart computing for Cyber-Physical Systems
• Algorithms, models, and designs for social Cyber-Physical Systems
• Machine learning for/with Cyber-Physical Systems
• Nature-Inspired Algorithms for Cyber-Physical Systems
• Affecting Ubiquitous Intelligence in Cyber-Physical Computing
• Device Virtualization (DV) in pervasive Cyber-Physical Systems
• Issues and implementation of Privacy, Security, and Trust in
Cyber-Physical Systems
• Affecting Context-Awareness for Cyber-Physical Systems
• Design, development, and implementation of Smart Cyber-Physical Systems
• Comparison of artificial intelligence-based approaches to Cyber-Physical
Systems
• AI-based fraud detection, and mitigation
• Smart IDS and IPS for Cyber-Physical System
• Cyber-attack forecasting, detection, and mitigation
• Innovative applications of Cyber-Physical Systems in various domains

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit full chapters by *March
23, 2020*, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for
manuscript preparation at
http://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/;
please use “Authored or Edited Chapter Template” prior to submission at the
eEditorial Discovery® online submission manager (
https://www.igi-global.com/submission/). All submitted chapters will be
reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested
to serve as reviewers for this project. Authors will be notified by *June
15, 2020* about the status of their chapters.

Note: *There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted
to this book publication*, *Artificial Intelligence Paradigms for Smart
Cyber-Physical Systems*. All manuscripts are accepted based on a
double-blind peer review editorial process.

All full chapters must be submitted through the eEditorial Discovery®TM
online submission manager.
