I am pleased to let you know a Star Alliance Fare Discount is now available for travel to Auckland for ICIS 2014 in December. Registered participants plus one accompanying person travelling to the event can qualify for a discount of up to 20%, depending on fare and class of travel booked. The Star Alliance member airlines have been appointed as the official Airline Network for ICIS 2014 with Air New Zealand as the lead airline. I hope this is useful for at least some of you. As Detmar mentioned at the ICIS 2014 presentation in Milan, I encourage all of you to try to book your air travel sooner rather than later. This is because the few weeks before and immediately after Christmas are the busiest of the year with thousands of New Zealanders coming home to be with family over the Christmas break (note: we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving). Hence the sooner you book, the more likely you are to get the exact dates and times you want.
