DCABES is responsible for organising the International Conference on Distributed Computing and Applications in Business, Engineering, and Sciences. Three such events had been held in China in Sept 2001, Dec 2002, Sept 2003. The next event is to be held in the Maritime Greenwich Campus, the Old Royal Naval College, University of Greenwich, during 25th - 27th August, 2005.
The aim of the conference is to report current state-of-the-art in 'distributed algorithms for science and engineering', and the event is co-sponsored by DCABES and ICPACE (International Conference on Parallel Algorithms and Computing Environment).
Another aim of the conference is the meeting of east and west in distributed algorithms. The conference series was originally initiated in China, and DCABES is known to many academics in the Far East. They are encouraged to participate at this conference in August enabling interaction and fostering collaborations with western counter parts. As the conference is to be held at Greenwich academics and researchers from the UK are encouraged to participate at this series of conferences, in particular the one to be held here in Greenwich.
Abstract submission deadline is extended to 28/02/2005. Abstracts submission portal can be found from the web site below using the 'How to contribute' button on the left column.
