Analytics: Developing Competitive Advantages from Big Data
November
2nd, 2012
College
of Business, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Deadline
October

2012
The
Program
The
confluence of social media, electronic commerce, customer
relation management technology, mobile devices, market
databases, inter-connected networks, and cloud computing
have made how to process, manage, and make sense of these
data so as to make the best use of them an important area of
competitive advantages for organizations and businesses.
This
conference will bring together leading researchers and
practitioners from information systems, business, and
engineering to discuss the state-of-the-art development,
business best practices, technological trends, issues, and
research results.
Submission
Researchers
who are interested in presenting at the Conference Workshop
should submit their full-length papers (no more than 25
pages, double-spaced) or short papers (around 10 pages,
double-spaced) addressing research topics related to
business analytics or business intelligence.
Please submit them in an email to
BusAnalyticsConf@illinois.edu. Any questions about
the submission process can be addressed to Ali Tafti (atafti@Illinois.edu).
We are especially interested in innovative research that has
not been published elsewhere.
