Most organizations, networks and teams have experienced a substantial increase in the amount of telework and technology-mediated collaboration these days. The pandemic has accelerated the organizational practices of employees and members working together across multiple spatial and temporal boundaries in complex configurations comprised of multi-team arrangements, complex dependency relationships, and multiple organizational boundaries. Sometimes referred to as telework or technology-mediated collaboration, coordinating task work and teamwork over a web of communication and information sharing networks continues to serve as an important locus for research opportunities. In addition, the pandemic has accelerated practices of remo te education, online shopping, virtual conferences, distributed social events, and many other unique adaptations to this historic period. Research on distributed collaboration and telework in organizations and networks is necessarily multi-disciplinary. The implications are profound from every perspective - social, political, economic, technological, and environmental. For HICSS-55, we have forged a fast track publication opportunity with Data & Policy published by Cambridge University Press. Data & Policy is a peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to data science and governance. Topics for papers submitted to this minitrack include, but are not limited to: * Spatial and temporal separation and its effects on collaboration * Coordination and collaboration across multiple boundaries * Team knowledge networks * Impacts and consequences of telework on organizational and network outcomes * Cross-cultural impact on collaboration (e.g., language, perceptions of time, power distance, conflict) * Project management styles and differences across cultures * eLeadership * Personality and its role in virtual teams * Virtual and hybrid team collaboration and innovation * Emotion in virtual teams * Relationship building in virtual teams * Information sharing in virtual teams * Collaboration and communication processes and tools * Differences between academic and non-academic virtual teams * Social Network Analysis, and methodological advances in network science and graph analytics * Identifying multi-level influences on virtual teams, organizations, and networks * The science of team science (distributed collaboration in scientific teams) We encourage research submissions that inform policy and practice in distributed collaboration and telework through a variety of academic lenses. This mini-track invites papers that offer direct and indirect insights into the successful operation of virtual teams, distributed collaboration, organizations and networks, including research in computer supported collaborative work (CSCW), computer supported collaborative learning (CSCL), telework, and social and organizational networks. We are also interested in studies about the philosophical and social analysis of DH data and knowledge representation models. For instance, ontologies for the DH often require to take into account the historical and social dimensions of data. The research question is how to explicitly represent these dimensions in a way that is transparent and accessible to both humans and machines. We believe that making both modellers and users aware of the modelling choices laying behind models and applications, as well as studying the background theories of such modelling choices, enhance the transparency and reliability of computational resources, and therefore help users in better understanding and trusting them. The aim of SW4CH is to bring together stakeholders from various scientific fields, Computer Scientists, Data Scientists and Digital Humanists, involved in the development or deployment of Semantic Web solutions for Cultural Heritage. Cultural Heritage data is typically made available in diverse languages and formats. Knowledge representation can play an important role in making such resources mutually interoperable, so that it can be presented, linked and searched in a harmonized way. Early solutions were based on the syntactic/structural level of data, without leveraging the rich semantic structures underlying the content. Nowadays, institutions bring their data to the Semantic Web level, so the tasks of integrating, sharing, analysing and visualizing data are to be conceived in this new and very rich framework. The overall goal of SWODCH 2021 is to provide a scientific forum where scholars and stakeholders will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, experiences, and analyses, while presenting realizations and outcomes of relevant projects and discussing the related challenges. This new generation of systems requires maximizing the use of models and data collected throughout the system life cycle, which needs to be processed, organized and structured to help to manage and improve the systems. In fact, supporting the consistency management across multiple models requires understanding the relationship between these models that they should maintain a (multi-)model consistency requirement as changes in one model affect other models. As a consequence, these relationships can be defined, by means of traceability and bidirectional correspondences among the different artefacts. Using the automotive industry as an example, the development of cars has evolved in the last decades from pure mechanical engineering to multidisciplinary engineering where engineers from different domains (including software engineering, electrical engineering, safety engineering, and mechanical engineering) are involved. For instance, system engineering models are employed early to capture requirements and basic structuring of the entire system, while software engineering models are used later on to describe the concrete software architecture. Each model helps in addressing the specific design issue with appropriate notations and at a suitable level of abstraction. Finally, while the traditional method uses a linear approach, where the stages of the software development process must be completed in sequential order, today's methodology uses iterative and incremental approaches, where the development processes are executed in parallel, increasing the need for synchronization and consistency management approaches. The main challenges associated with this context are related to: model synchronization, interoperability between languages and tools, model and multi-model consistency maintenance, management of inconsistencies, traceability and correspondences. This theme invites researchers from different areas including software engineering, programming languages, databases, and document engineering. Contributions in the area of software development of embedded and software-intensive systems, self-adaptive systems, cyber-physical systems are welcome. This special issue welcomes contributions regarding languages, methods, techniques, tools and experience reports about adopting consistency management, as well as empirical studies, e.g., case studies, investigating the cost and benefits of consistency management approaches. Despite the many personal, economic, and societal benefits offered by AI and analytics, its use raises a variety of ethical concerns. Ethics permeates the entire analytics process, from what data to use, to how to represent the extracted knowledge and exploit the insights to create economic and social value. Ethical concerns (i.e. illegitimate surveillance, invasion of privacy, unemployment, malicious use etc.) are frequently used to portray AI and analytics as ‘a danger to humanity’. These concerns warrant the attention of the academic community who are in a privileged position within society to raise awareness about the responsible design, implementation and use of AI, analytics, and ICT. At the same time, AI and analytics has opened new domains of exclusion and privilege for some, leaving some individuals and communities excluded from the digitised society. For example, digital exclusion is part of the overall challenge of exclusion, a growing phenomenon which carries with it a series of deteriorations in life paths (i.e. poor lifelong earnings and an increased risk of marginalisation). There are many who are currently excluded for reasons of low income and education, location, culture, trust and confidence levels or various disabilities (European Commission).Success in the increasingly digitised society requires a comprehensive approach to fostering an ethical and inclusive society. The 20th IFIP Conference on e-Business, e-Services, and e-Society aims to bring together contributions from a variety of perspectives, disciplines and communities for the advancement of knowledge regarding Responsible AI and Analytics for an Ethical and Inclusive Digitised Society. In the editorial preface article titled, "Taxonomy of higher education delivery modes: A conceptual framework," the authors focus on how the education landscape has changed almost overnight from the in-person mode to online due to the onslaught of the ongoing pandemic, Covid-19. It discusses how the increased dependence on online platforms for course management and video conferencing requires these systems to be as seamless, user friendly, and inclusive as possible. The article provides a taxonomy of various higher education delivery modes along the dimensions of efficacy and efficiency. The article calls for establishing a "gold-standard" for online classes, serving as a benchmark for fully or partially online classes. The first research article is titled, "Information technology transforming higher education: A meta-analytic review." The research study based on a meta-analytic review of 72 quantitative peer-reviewed articles investigates how contextual factors of learning environment, the field of study, intervention period, and application type moderate the IT's impact on learning outcomes in higher education. The second research article is titled "An evaluation of online flipped instruction methods during the Covid-19 pandemic." The research paper presents a novel framework to transform face-to-face classes into online flipped instruction for Information Systems (IS) courses. According to the authors, the proposed framework uniquely combines a backward design approach with flipped classroom methodology customized for online education. The framework was successfully applied to the IS courses offered in two colleges in a public university in the US during the Covid-19 period. The study measured the online flipped course elements' effectiveness based on the students' feedback and developed design considerations and teaching tips to be used during and after the Covid-19 era. The Expert Opinion report narrates an interview with Shekhar Chandra, leadership consultant with YouLEAD and President of SolveitNOW. Shekhar Chandra was nominated for the WEF (World Economic Forum) Tech Pioneers award in 2008 for creating proprietary technologies in Personalized Contextual Web Search and Mobile Transliteration Technologies. In the interview, Shekhar Chandra provides insight into how the value proposition of SolveitNOW improved due to the elevation of online education as the new norm due to the ongoing pandemic Covid-19. The book review report provides a detailed critique of the 2016 book titled "Teaching in the Online Classroom: Surviving and Thriving in the New Normal," authored by Doug Lemov and the Teach Like a Champion(tm) team, and published by Jossey Bass. Dr. Matta suggests that the book provides helpful suggestions for effective online education. He further suggests that the book makes home the point that it is critical to align the in-person education style with the content in the online environment. For effective teaching, in this new online-only world, relationships are built first and foremost through effective teaching. The goal is not that the students love their teachers but that they love learning with their teachers. This track provides the opportunity for fostering meaningful connections between researchers from both practical and theoretical areas of AI and, at the same time, offers participants the possibility to learn about progress made on these topics, share their own views and elaborate about approaches that could lead to effective cross-fertilisation among research in challenging KR applications and new innovative systems for solving them. ------------------ Expected Contributions ------------------ The Applications and Systems Track at KR 2021 invites submissions of papers on all aspects of the development, deployment, and evaluation of KR systems to solve significant and challenging application problems, including * case studies, including suitable descriptions of the problem setting, data and tools used, and “lessons learnt”,  * use cases, including task specifications, related tasks/approaches, challenges, and a sketch of possible KR solution,  * benchmarks, including suitable descriptions of the dataset, reasoning tasks, and ideally some “solution set” or gold standard,  * system descriptions, including descriptions of the algorithm, implementation and empirical evaluation on a suitable dataset.  We welcome the above kinds of papers on a wide range of topics, including classic KR tools/techniques as well as their usage for solving or supporting tasks in a range of areas, for example: * Computational Biology  * Computer Vision and Image/Video Recognition  * Creative Computing  * Cybersecurity and Blockchain  * Data Analytics  * Databases and Query Answering  * Diagnosis and Explanation  * Game Theory and Social Choice  * Intelligent Transportation and Logistics  * Intelligent User Interfaces  * Internet of Things  * Machine Learning  * Natural Language Processing  * Digital Forensics  * Robotics and Human Robot Collaboration  * Semantic Web and Knowledge Graphs  * Software Engineering  * System Design  We welcome submissions talking about interdisciplinary applications of KR, for example in economics, education, life sciences, medicine, and pharmacology. ------------------ Submission Guidelines and Evaluation Criteria ------------------ The Applications and Systems Track will allow contributions of both regular papers (9 pages) and short papers (4 pages), excluding references, prepared and submitted according to the instructions on the KR2021 website. The track emphasizes applications of KR and development of KR systems, and welcomes contributions showcasing the impact of KR research as well as driving future research by presenting challenging data, use cases and problems together with observations and insights gained. Submissions will be rigorously peer reviewed by PC members, who are active in applications of KR and/or development of KR systems. Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of the overall quality of their technical contribution, including criteria such as originality, soundness, relevance, significance, quality of presentation, and understanding of the state of the art. In this track, the selection process of the highest quality papers will further apply the following criteria: - (for case studies) quality of the evaluation and significance of the “lessons learnt”  - (for use cases) importance and novelty of these use cases for KR  - (for system descriptions) quality of the empirical evaluation and its reporting  - (for benchmarks) reusability, coverage, and complexity of the datasets  ------------------ Remote Participation Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic ------------------ We understand that the global public health situation may make it difficult or impossible for some, if not all, participants to travel to Hanoi.
