The *2007 International Conference on Complex Open Distributed Systems
(__http://xiaglow-research.org.uk/CODS2007/__ ) invites tutorial
proposals. *
The tutorials are provisionally scheduled to be presented on* Sunday
22^nd or Tuesday 24^th July 2007*. Each tutorial will run half day or
whole day. Anyone who
is interested in presenting a tutorial at CODS2007 should submit a
proposal to the tutorial chairs at the addresses below.
Scope
CODS2007 is interested in proposals for advanced tutorials at the
leading edge of technologies in research and development of complex open
distributed
systems particularly related to one of the 12 themes of the conference,
i.e.:
Track 1 Grid Computing, and Virtual Organization Systems
Track 2 Service Oriented Architectures in Computing and Communications
Track 3 High Performance Autonomous Computing
Track 4 Internet, and Web Services
Track 5 Emergence, Self-Organization, and Adaptation
Track 6 Open Dynamic Multi-Agent Systems
Track 7 Distributed Intelligence and Systems
Track 8 Self-Organization and Self-Management in Distributed and Grid
Computing
Track 9 High Performance Autonomous Networking
Track 10 Wireless Networks, and Mobile Communications and Computing
Track 11 Self-Organization and Self-Management in Communications
Track 12 Industrial System Applications
Submission Requirements
A proposal should contain the following information:
· Name, institutional affiliation, mailing address, phone, fax,
e-mail, WWW address of the proposed presenter(s).
· Title of the tutorial.
· Tutorial duration (half day or one day)
· Aim of the tutorial
· Targeted audience of the tutorial
· A 200-300 word description of the tutorial.
· Detailed outline or prose description of the tutorial contents.
· Biography of the presenter(s) of the tutorial
The Biography of the presenter should clearly identify this person as an
expert
in the research area of the tutorial, i.e., by providing references to
publications in this area and previous tutorials and lecturing experiences.
If variants of the proposed tutorial have been given before, please
specify them by naming the conference, title of tutorial, and number of
participants in each case.
Important Dates
Tutorial submission deadline: 25 May 2007
Notification of acceptance: 5 June 2007
Final title and abstract and presenters bios of accepted tutorials: 20
June 2007
